EFPP Large Group

The EFPP Large Group translates theoretical themes into a specific and sustained institutional practice. Originally established in response to shared external crises—first the COVID-19 pandemic and later the war in Ukraine—it has evolved from a crisis intervention into a permanent structure.

The function of the Large Group extends beyond containing acute disruption. It also serves an ongoing median group role by sustaining a European-wide professional community, providing a space for members to engage with differing national and political perspectives, and creating regular opportunities to think together about experiences that no single national or clinical context can fully contain.
